FORM & LIGHT

Sharing a recent 3D exploration focused on lighting, rendering, and compositing.
→ from scene setup and lighting to final comp.
This project became a deep dive into product-style lighting and how subtle shadow control can shape perception of form and material.

What I explored:
• Building a clean lighting rig for controlled highlights
• Using gobos to introduce organic shadow breakup
• Managing reflections across glass, rope, and matte surfaces
• Render passes for depth, colour control, and polish in comp
• Integrating topographic overlays to reinforce the climbing/elevation theme
Seeing the raw scene next to the final render is always a reminder that strong visuals are built through lots of iteration.
